A record of my journey as an entrepreneur
Elon Musk once likened the process of launching a company to "chewing glass and staring into the abyss," a sentiment I can certainly empathize with. Below, you'll find a list of the companies I've started, advised, or invested in.
Like any entrepreneurial endeavor, this journey has had its share of highs and lows. Throughout it all, my incredible family has stood by me, and I humbly acknowledge that none of these achievements would have been possible without their unwavering support.
With over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, I have founded and led six companies across different industries. Two of these companies have been acquired. The first, a self-funded business in the sports industry, grew to the 4th largest lacrosse club in the U.S. and was sold to a competitor. The second, an investor-backed data privacy business, developed proprietary technology and was acquired by a cybersecurity company.
My diverse experience enables me to address challenges with a cross-pollination of ideas, often leading to the identification of new opportunities. I have a track record of building exceptional teams, fostering innovation and growth, and forming valuable business partnerships.
Over the span of eleven years, I was the head boy's lacrosse coach at Dublin Jerome High School, where I had the honor of leading multiple championship teams and assisting several athletes with college recruiting.
I am also a member of the Ambassador Council at Nationwide Children's Hospital, where I support initiatives in autism research and care through innovation, funding, and collaborative efforts.
I spend most of my personal time with my beautiful wife and amazing kids. Our family enjoys playing craps and blackjack, going all-out with Halloween and Christmas decorations, and running 100 different directions with kids sports and activities.
My personal interests include golf, skiing, working out, and delving into audiobooks and podcasts on topics like cryptocurrency, psychology, business, health and nutrition, and investment strategies.
